Former KKR captain Dinesh Karthik may are dismissed for a golden duck against Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on Sunday but he registered a serious record with the gloves in hand when it had been KKR’s address field in Dubai.

Karthik, who took four catches, including the outstanding one-handed diving catch to dismiss Ben Stokes, went past MS Dhoni’s record to become the wicket-keeper with most catches within the IPL.

Karthik now has 110 catches to his name and can have an opportunity to feature to his tally if KKR manages to qualify for the playoffs. CSK captain MS Dhoni has 109 catches within the IPL.
Parthiv Patel is third on the list who has 66 catches in IPL followed by Naman Ojha (65) and Robin Uthappa (58).

On Sunday in the Indian Premier League, it was KKR who got the better of RR as they beat them by 60 runs.

Morgan played an unbeaten knock of 68 runs to assist the KKR post a complete of 191 runs on the board. Rajasthan Royals only managed to attain 131 from their 20 overs where Cummins picked up 4 wickets.

Morgan spoke on the team performance and said: “The guys came out and played well during a game where there have been different circumstances involved that are completely uncontrollable. They played during a way we might have liked to play throughout the tournament. Glad that result went our way and whatever happens from here is totally out of our control.”

KKR are out of the completion after Sunrisers Hyderabad Beat Mumbai Indians in the final match of the league stage.
