FEROZ SHAH KOTLA: Delhi Capitals’ who is looking for the replacements for their injured players, conducted a trial on Thursday. Domestic players like Manoj Tiwary, Manpreet Singh Gony and Tushar Deshpande went there for the trials.
Bengal skipper Manoj Tiwary, who already played for Delhi earlier said that” Yes I attended the trials. I felt that it went off well. I had a chat with the DC advisor Sourav Ganguly and Coach Ricky Ponting. I have not been officially told anything. Hoping for the best.
The reason behind this trial is that DC had concerns about the injuries of Player. Earlier it was Manjot Kalra who got ruled out of the tournament, Now its the Fast Bowler, Harshal Patel who injured his right hand and made exit from the tournament. Rahul Tewatia also had some issue with his health. There is no Official news about his injury
Manoj Tiwary has bigger chances to get selected as compared to other players he has the experience of playing IPL. He played for many franchises like Kings X1 Punjab, Delhi, Rising Pune Supergiants and many more. There is no official verdict from the DC management about the replacements. The verdict will come soon.
