SAWAI MANSINGH STADIUM: MS Dhoni, who has been known for his calm and composed behavior in his career has breached IPL code of conduct. Last night he lost his calmness due to the wrong decision by Umpire. He went into the field and confronted the match officials regarding the issue of No-Ball. He got charged 50 % of his match fees.
The incident happened at Sawai Mansingh Stadium when the match was on its last stage. With 9 runs required in 3 balls, Stokes delivered a full toss which was clearly above the waist height. The front umpire gave that a no-ball but leg umpire over-ruled the decisions. This made MS furious. He then stepped onto the field and pointed at the straight umpire, probably suggested that he raised the arm for No-ball(which he did).
The CSK skipper MS Dhoni admitted to the “Level 2 offense 2.20 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction”. He was charged 50% of his match fees.
Fans never saw this kind of behavior from MS Dhoni from nearly a decade. He is known for calm and sober attitude on the field.
