IPL 2020 : BCCI to appoint VPS health Care as their Medical Partner

News coming in from the BCCI as they appoint the UAE based VPS healthcare as their medical partner for the upcoming season of Dream11 IPL 2020. The tournament is set to begin on 19th September and will go on until November 10th.

The responsibility for a proper end to end medical facilities and solutions will rely on the shoulders of the health care group which include the likes Shamsheer Vayalil and also the son in law and founder of Lula supermarket MA Yusuf Ali.

The various benefits that will be offered by VPS Healthcare include the likes of support by providing emergency support whenever needed and performing musculoskeletal imaging if required. According to the agreement with the healthcare group, they will also provide sports medicines and provide the facility of medical admissions and ambulance support.

The bottom line is that VPS Healthcare has been the official testing partner of the 13th edition of Dream11 IPL 2020. The group has been involved in all the testing since the beginning of players arrivals in the UAE. The quarantine and isolation protocols are also being managed by the group and are coordinating well with the health regulatory authorities to maintain all things properly.

This confirms that the medical side of the tournament will be entirely covered by the UAE based healthcare group. They are ready for the upcoming challenge and look forward to serving the multi-million dollar league with their facilities as reported by the CEO of VPS Healthcare Mr Shajir Gaffar.

The CEO also confessed that they understand the gravity of the situation and are looking forward to taking responsibility by dealing with the deadly virus throughout the tournament. He further added that the team is equipped with all the possible required services which would be used at the right time.  The history of VPS is enough to trust their instinct as they own and manage around 23 hospitals and 125 medical centres and also hold a retail pharmacy network.
