The slot has been filled and the last card has been played by the BCCI as the 13th edition of the Dream11 IPL has got another official sponsor on board with them. Recently Unacademy has signed in as official partner of the IPL 2020 and now it is the Credit Card Payment Company CRED.

There was a lot of pressure on the BCCI to find sponsors for the Dream11 IPL but now they have officially confirmed their deal with Unacademy and CRED.

According to several sources it is expected that BCCI would earn around 120 crores from the three partnership slots they have filled. The companies include CRED, Tata Motors and Unacademy.

One of the BCCI officials had a talk with InsideSport and he declared that they are glad and extremely pleased to fill out all the slots of sponsors. He further threw some light on the brand strength of IPL. Lastly he concluded by talking about the only deficit that was caused this season due to the removal of their title sponsors due to uneven reasons and unpredictable circumstances.

The BCCI have taken a sigh of relief as after the pull out of the Future Group and imbalance cut from the new Title sponsors Dream11, they have managed to replace and fill the remaining two slots by recruiting and completing the deal with CRED and

The BCCI officials have also confirmed that the deal with Unacademy is for a period of 3 years and will announced shortly.

The revenue of total central sponsorship is still down by 30% in this year’s IPL when compared to 2019.

Star India signs PhonePe, Dream11 and Amazon as Co-presenting Partners for IPL 2020 On the other hand the official broadcasters of IPL have also witnessed a sigh of relief as they sign in three co-presenting partners for the grand occasion of IPL 2020.

Out of the four slots available for partnership, Amazon, PhonePe and Dream11 have filled three out of them. According to the reports OPPO had talks to fill the fourth slot but nothing is yet finalazied on the particular issue due to the anti-Chinese sentiment.

According to InsideSport the CO-presenting Partners may shell out around 140 crores and associate packages are kept in the range of 70-80 crores.

Some of the sources have also claimed that Star India has initially closed deals with Asian Paints, Poly Cabs, Coca Cola, MRF, Kamala Pasand and Mondolez. However till now out of the total available inventory, Star India has already sold around 45-50% from these deals.
