The online platform Disney+Hotstar which will be streaming the IPL matches have confirmed that only annual subscription users will be allowed to access the IPL matches.

The most awaited T20 league is all set to begin from September 19 till November 10.

According to a statement issued by the online streaming platform, the new and existing viewers and subscribers of Disney+Hotstar (Rs 399 for 12 months) and the premium users (1499 for 12 months) will only be allowed to access the IPL matches.

Disney+Hotstar has taken the initiative to partner with Airtel and Jio in order to make it easy for the people to subscribe. This tie will allow the users to access prepaid recharge plans which will hold 12 months subscription plan of Disney+Hotstar.

The Indian Premier League has become a festival in India. The most loved cricketing league in India is expected to bring smiles and optimism after months of negativity due to the pandemic situation. Fans from all parts of the country will involve in making this the most watched league in the entire history of IPL.

The President of Walt Disney company Uday Shankar was quite excited on the use of technology for the upcoming season of IPL. He believes that this will set a global benchmark and will redefine the way we watch and live sports.
