Kings XI Punjab goes all bent connect with their fanbase within the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). For an equivalent, KXIP has partnered with Tech Mahindra to launch a fanatical fan engagement app to virtually connect fans to groups during the Dream11 IPL 2020 and beyond.

The mobile app is going to be available on iOS/Android platform for fans to download during the Dream11 IPL 2020 season.

The CEO of Kings XI Punjab Satish Menon was quite excited to partner with Tech Mahindra as their Digital Fan Engagement Partner. The timing of launching this fan engagement app by Tech Mahindra is simply perfect, as this may help Kings XI Punjab to be boundaryless and hook up with even more fans than the previous IPL. Through this app, we also are helping our partner brands to be more digitally connected.”

The chief strategy officer and the head of the growth spoke on the occasion – The main motto of Tech Mahindra is to Revolutionize the fan experience globally with the use of technology. This strategic partnership with Kings XI Punjab will give us a chance to bring the simplest of both the worlds and help sports club to make the reach for fans beyond the apparent. we’ll enhance Fan engagement app further to supply hyper-personalised experience to Kings XI Punjab fans. With the launch of this app, we would like to ascertain more and more fans following the Kings XI Punjab.”

Tech Mahindra and Kings XI Punjab also will work on 5G related use cases for introducing holographic virtual fans to the stadium. As a part of the collaboration, Tech Mahindra also will support Kings XI Punjab to succeed in wider markets and audiences from at-home spectators real-time as the matches will be played behind closed doors with no spectators.

The head of global business development Manish Upadhyay told that Tech Mahindra has launched Sports Tech business unit to supply digital ecosystem for fans, sponsors, suppliers and clubs. We are happy to partner with Kings XI Punjab and this is often our initiative towards building a state-of-the-art digital fan engagement platform. Through this collaboration, we’ll bring fans closer to the Kings XI Punjab and grow the sport. Through our fan engagement app, we aren’t only providing great augmented and computer game experience to the fans especially the millennials, Gen Z and generation X, they further look to monetize the fan experience to add value to the digital brands.
