The little master Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his views and there’s no doubt that he’s backing the defending champions to lift the title this season again. The Master Blaster has quite a history with the Mumbai Indians as he was the captain of the team from 2008-11 and then went on to be their opener until 2013. Tendulkar believes that MI will defend the title as all the other teams are on equal footing.

Sachin Spoke to Akash Chopra on latter’s youtube channel and expressed his love for the mein in blue. He told that he has been a part of the franchise from the beginning so there’s no doubt in which team he is supporting. He also added that when Mumbai and Indians come together it becomes Mumbai Indians.

Tendulkar also added that all the teams are quite balanced and by looking at the format the amount of time spent on the field is crucial. The batsman who takes time need to accelerate and the ones who are charged up need to slow down at some point of the match. Overall Tendulkar believes that it is going to be an exciting season as anything can happen in a span of 53 days.

Tendulkar was also concerned about the opening match as a good start is what every team looks for but unfortunately, Mumbai Indians have a bad record to their name of not starting well in the IPL as they loose to Chennai Super Kings in the IPL Opener on Saturday.

The 47-year old also gave an example on playing a test cricket match as if they play well in the first game then most probably they will finish the series well. The same advice was meant for the Mumbai Indians as the team meetings are also held for a short period of time due to Covid-19.

However, the living cricketing legend believes that it is Mumbai Indians who will emerge victorious in this season of Dream11 IPL as well.
