It has been reported that the VPS Healthcare are recruited by the BCCI as the official testing agency of Covid-19. The expected number of tests to be carried out during the IPL will be around 20k which will be conducted for nearly a period of three months.
The company also mentioned few important points during a press release and stated that the 20k tests will include all the people irrespective of their role in the IPL which includes the Players, Support Staff Members, the BCCI officials the stakeholders of IPL.
They further cleared that they are constant touch and discussion with the BCCI regarding the provision of providing other allied medical services which might be needed for the smooth conduct of the upcoming season.
The rules and protocols are strict being taken care of and the players and staff members will be tested on days 1, 3 and 6 before entering the Bio-bubble.
Even after the players have Entered the secure Bio-bubble, they are expected to get tested every fifth day of the tournament throughout the season.
