The tour of the IPL for the Rajasthan Royals has ended in the eighteenth edition of the IPL.
They have played all fourteen matches and won four out of them and lost ten games.
Although the eighteenth edition of IPL wasn’t so great for the Royals, they got a new young talent in the face of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
The young 14-year-old boy has impressed everyone who watches cricket and has in in the headlines many times.
The last match of RR was against Chennai Super Kings, and they are likely to end the season in the ninth position.
Match Details
The 62nd match of the IPL was all set to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Chennai Super Kings Innings
Ayush Mhatre and Devon Conway opened the innings for CSK.
Yudhvir Singh didn’t let them settle and took the wickets of Devon and Urvil in his first over.
Ayush was timing the ball and adding runs from the other end.
Tushar Deshpande stopped him and took his wicket in the last over of the powerplay.
After that, wickets started to fall in short intervals of time when Dewald and Shivam handled the innings.
They both added some runs to the total, with the help of which CSK made a total of 187 runs for the loss of eight wickets.
Yudhvir Singh and Akash Madhwai took three wickets each.
Rajasthan Royals Innings
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened the innings for RR.
They both started great, but soon Kamboj bowled Yashasvi, and Sanju came in to bat.
He and Vaibhav took forward the innings, built a strong partnership, and Vaibhav also completed his half-century.
Ashwin broke their partnership by taking both of their wickets in the same over.
In the end, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer played good knocks and took the RR towards victory.
They won the match by six wickets and 17 balls to spare.
