The Indian Premier League, also known as IPL, is all set to have an auction on December 19 in Dubai.
This auction will be a mini-auction that will take place between the ten teams to fill all their slots.
All ten teams sent their lists of players that they retained and those that were transferred.
The biggest trade was for Hardik Pandya, as he came back to the team from where he started his IPL career.
Hardik Pandya came back to the Mumbai Indians, and apart from him, Cameron Green, Avesh Khan, Devdutt Padikkal, and many more players got traded and transferred.
Players with a base price of Rs 2 crore:
Many players set their base price at 2 crore rupees, and many players from Australia were in the World Cup-winning squad.
Pat Cummins, the captain of Australia, is one of the players, followed by Steven Smith, Josh Hazelwood, Travis Head, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Inglis.
Apart from them, the start of South Africa Rassie Van der Dussen, Rilee Rossouw, and many more will be seen.
In total, around 25 players will have a base price of 2 crore in the IPL auction in 2024.
Base Price of Rs 1.5 crore:
Dawid Malan, Phil Salt, Wanindu Hasaranga, Tim Southee, and many more stars have this base price.
The start for New Zealand in the 2023 World Cup Rachin Ravindra, has set his base price to 50 lakhs.
Available money and slots:
In total, a team can have 25 players in their team, which can consist of a maximum of eight overseas players.
In total, 77 slots are going to be filled in the auction, which will have 30 overseas slots.
Chennai Super Kings have a total of six slots, with Rs 31.4 crore left in the purse.
The Delhi Capitals have nine slots with a purse value of 28.95.
The Gujarat Titans have seven slots and 23.15 crore rupees left.
Kolkata Knight Riders have a maximum of 12 slots to be filled with 32.7 purses.
Lucknow Super Giants have six slots, two overseas slots, and a purse value of 13.15.
Mumbai Indians have a total of eight slots, with three overseas slots and 15.25 money left.
The Punjab Kings have eight slots with a purse value of 29.1 crore left.
Rajasthan Royals have a total of eight slots with 14.5 crore left, whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad has six slots with 34 crore left.
