After the recent incident of Irfan Pathan, where people trolled and slammed him for posting a picture with his wife revealing her arms and part of her face, now is the turn for Indian pacer Mohammed Shami to face that rage. However, this is not new for Shami as he was also criticised on last Christmas for posting a picture with his wife where he and his wife Hasin Jahan were wearing western clothes.
This time he was trolled by his Muslim fans all over social media after he postedย pictures of his wife during their daughter’s second birthday celebrations. Many felt that his wife Hasin Jahan committed a “sin” by not wearing a hijab during the birthday celebrations

“Sad to see your wife without hijab. my dear Shami sir do not look at the smallness of the sin, rather look at the one whom you are disobeying,” Sharun Km from Kunnamkulam posted with a hashtag #GoToHell.
“Do you want to please right wings by not wearing hijab nd celebrating birthday,” posted by Syed Akhtar from Beijing.
Mohammad Tahir Faisal from Patna posted: “Drown in shame… Are you Muslim, I don’t think so you’re Muslim…Islam can’t allow you to celebrate Birthday in that fashion.”
Recently three local youth also tried to barge in Shami’s house but later were arrested by the police.
