Royal Challengers Banglore and Gujarat Titans competed against each other in match number 67 of IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium.
The last time they both faced each other was in match number 43 in which Gujarat Titans won by six wickets.
After winning their last two matches and also being at number one in the points table, Gujarat Titans will be looking to finish the league with a win. Whereas, after losing against Punjab Kings, Bangalore would also be in hope of consecutive wins.
After winning the toss, the Gujarat Titans chose to bat first. It was now up to them to arrange a high-scoring match. Their innings began with a four. GT put up 14 runs score in the opening over alone.
Glenn Maxwell made an incredible single-handed catch to give RCB its first breakthrough, despite the openers were looking fantastic.

Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli formed an amazing partnership of 115 runs, but Faf lost his wicket later. In the end, 40 runs Innings in just 18 balls by Glenn Maxwell made the game for his team as RCB won the match by eight wickets.
Virat Kohli was selected as the Man Of The Match for his knock of 73 runs. With this win, the RCB made their place in the top 4 and a step closer to qualifying for the playoffs.
