KKR has been performing outstandingly in the 2024 IPL season.
They won 8 matches out of 11 and are at the top of the table with 16 points.
They only need a single win to qualify for the playoffs.
And become the first team to reach the playoffs in the 2024 edition.

The 60th match of the IPL was played in Eden Gardens between KKR and Mumbai Indians (MI).
Rain interrupted gameplay as the match was reduced to 16 overs per side.
The Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Innings
Phil Salt and Sunil Narine opened the innings for KKR.
Nuwan Thushara didn’t let them settle, as he took the wicket of Phil in the first over.
Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl the second over and bowled Sunil in the first ball.
Later in the powerplay, Anshul Kamboj bowled Shreyas Iyer.
KKR was in great trouble as Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana handled the situation.
Their short knocks by both of them brought back KKR in the game.
Going on, they both also lost their wickets as Andre and Rinku showed some power hitting.
With their short knocks, KKR managed to score a total of 157/7.
Jasprit Bumrah and Piyush Chawla took two wickets each.
Mumbai Indians (MI) Innings
Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for MI.
They both started great, as Ishan was hitting marvelous shots.
Both were taking the game away from KKR, as Sunil Narine brought them back into the game.
He took the wicket of Ishan, and in the next over, Rohit also lost his wicket.
Surya and Tilak tried to handle the innings but Surya lost his wicket.
From there, for the next three more overs, MI lost a wicket.
Tilak tried hard till the end but wasn’t able to make MI win the match.
KKR won the match by 18 runs, as they also qualified for the playoffs.
