Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Indian Women cricket team on his official Twitter account for their efforts and performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. Modi had also wished the team before the final and said that Indian players have shown “remarkable tenacity and skill” during the course of the tournament.
