You know you’ve done good when Prime Minister praises you

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Indian Women cricket team on his official Twitter account for their efforts and performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. Modi had also wished the team before the final and said that Indian players have shown “remarkable tenacity and skill” during the course of the tournament.

“Our women cricketers gave their best today. They have shown remarkable tenacity & skill through the World Cup. Proud of the team,” he had tweeted.

“As our women’s cricket team plays the World Cup finals today, I join the 125 crore Indians in wishing them the very best,” he tweeted before the match began. Along with this, he had posted several tweets before the match praising the Indian women’s team and wishing them for the final match.

This must have been a huge moment of pride for Indian women. Though they were not able to win the final, they surely won all the hearts and there is no doubt that the team fought hard for the title.
