Virat Kohli marks his comeback by hitting his 51st ODI century, as his ton also seals India’s victory over Pakistan.

India versus Pakistan is known as the biggest clash in cricketing history.

The highest and most anticipated match is the one between these two nations.

Pakistan already lost the first match against New Zealand, and if they lose the game against India, their tour in the

ICC Champions Trophy will almost end.

The last edition champions will be out before the semi-finals.

India started the tour with an outstanding win against Bangladesh, and if they win this match, they will almost clear their way for the third consecutive semi-finals.

Match Details

The fifth match of the Champions Trophy was played on February 23rd in Dubai.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan Innings

Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam opened the innings for them.

They both started a bit slow and were trying to settle down as Hardik Pandya broke their partnership by taking the wicket of Babar.

In the next over, due to the outstanding throw by Axar Patel, Imam got run out.

Saud and Mohammad Rizwan came in to bat as the openers lost their wickets.

They handled the innings for a while and were forming a good partnership.

Axar Patel broke their partnership as he bowled Rizwan as Saud completed his half-century, and in the next over he also lost his wicket.

After that, no Pakistani batsman could stand for long in front of the Indian bowling attack.

At last, they lost all their wickets at a total of 241 runs, and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets.

India Innings

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started great as soon as Rohit got bowled by Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Virat Kohli came in to bat as he and Shubman formed a crucial partnership.

Abrar Ahmed broke their partnership by taking the wicket of Gill.

Virat completed his half-century as Shreyas Iyer supported him from the other end, and he also completed his half-century.

India was close to victory as with the outstanding four Virat Kohli completed his century and made India win the match.

Virat hit his 51st ODI century, marked his comeback, and was also chosen as the Player of the Match.
