Indian tennis players, Rohan Bopanna and Leander Paes are doing an impressive job in the Aegon Championship. India’s star player, Rohan Bopanna and his Croatian partner Ivan Dodig registered a win over Australian-American team of Thanasi Kokkinakis and Kyle Edmund while Leander Paes and his partner, Canada’s Adil Shamasdin won against Australian duo of John-Patrick Smith and Matt Reid. Both Indian have now advanced to the quarter-finals of the championship.
The Indo-Crotian pair of Bopanna and Dodig at the Queen’s Club won the first set 6-3 without any difficulty. However, the Australian-American made a comeback in the second set and registered a close 6-7 win. The third set was won 10-7 by Bopanna and Dodig hence making them eligible to play in the quarterfinals. They will now play against Finnish-Australian duo of Henri Kontinen and John Peers to reach the semi-finals.
