The Mumbai Indians (MI) continued their winning streak as they won the thrilling match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

MI broke their losing streak after winning against the Delhi Capitals, and after that, they won against KKR and then SRH.

The 25th match of the IPL was to be played between MI and
SRH at the home ground of SRH in Hyderabad.

Match Details

The ground was filled with spectators and fans as SRH won the toss and elected to field first.

MI was set to bat first, set up a good total, and defend it.

Mumbai Indians (MI) Innings

Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the innings for the MI team.

They both started great as they hit a boundary in the first over itself.

They gave a good start to their team as Rohit hit three consecutive fours in the third over.

In the fifth over, Rohit again hit two fours against T Natarajan as he also took his wicket in that over.

After that, Cameron Green came into bat as he started to play an important knock for his team.

Cameron and Ishan formed a short partnership, after which Ishan also lost his wicket.

In the same over, Surya Kumar also lost his wicket, as Jansen gave two big breakthroughs in the same over to the MI team.

As the match went on, Cameron completed his half-century with the help of his knock, and the knock by Tilak Varma MI made a total of 192/5.

Tilak Varma was then replaced by Riley Meredith to strengthen the bowling attack and defend the total.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) innings

SRH sent T. Natarajan and called Abdul Samad to the team.

Harry Brook and Mayank Agarwal opened the inning for them.

They weren’t able to give their team a good start as Harry lost his wicket in the second over itself.

Mayank Agarwal played an outstanding knock of 48 runs as he brought the match close.

No one other than Mayank was able to score many runs when
Heinrich Klaasen tried to score some runs.

The bowling attack of MI didn’t let them achieve the total, as MI won the match by 14 runs.

Cameron Green was selected as the Player of the Match for his outstanding knock of 64 runs.
