The Government of New Zealand has given the Pakistan Cricket team a final warning as another six players have been tested positive for the virus. The CEO of PCB Wasim Khan has conveyed his message to the team and reminded them that there can be only 3-4 breaches of protocol.

Khan said that “they’ll send us home” if the team commits another breach. They have a policy and they’ve given us a final warning. We understand that this is often a difficult time for you, and you went through similar conditions in England,” ESPN Cricinfo quoted Khan as saying during a Whatsapp voice message to the players.

It was confirmed by the New Zealand Cricket that almost 6 members of the Pakistan squad have turned positive for the virus.

NZC stated that the squad of Pakistan touring NZ have some members upheld positive for the virus. For now, they are isolated in Christchurch.

It has also been reported that there has been a protocol breach during the manage isolation period by the Pakistan team. We will be having discussions with the tourists to help them in understanding the wants .”

Khan stressed it might be “very embarrassing” if the team is shipped back.
“This is a matter of national pride. It would be very embarrassing if they find yourself sending the team back.
