Pakistan went on a tour of Sri Lanka, they won the first test match.
The series consisted of two test matches. Pakistan won the first test match and took the lead.
If Sri Lanka wanted to tie the series, they had to win the second match against Pakistan.
But Pakistan won the second match by a huge margin of an Innings and 222 runs.

The second test match was going to be played in Colombo from
July 24–27.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.
Sri Lanka’s First Innings
Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne opened the inning for them.
They both weren’t able to give a great start to their team as Nishan got run out by Shan Masood.
After the wicket of Nishan, it wasn’t long before Kusal also lost his wicket.
The Sri Lankan batsmen were able to stand in front of the Pakistani bowling line-up.
Dhananjaya de Silva was the only batsman who was able to stand and score some runs.
With his 57 runs, Sri Lanka reached a total of 166 runs.
Abrar Ahmed took four wickets, while Naseem Shah took three wickets.
Pakistan Innings
Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq opened the inning for Pakistan.
Asitha Fernando gave Pakistan its first breakthrough in the form of an Imam.
Abdullah and Shan formed a great partnership after that as they both completed their half-centuries.
Asitha broke their partnership as he took the wicket of Shan.
Babar came in to bat as soon as he also lost his wicket.
Abdullah completed his century as Saud completed his half-century.
As the match went on, Abdullah stood on one side as the other batsmen scored runs and got out on the other side.
The double century by Abdullah and the century by Agha took Pakistan to a total of 576/5 when they declared their innings.
Sri Lanka’s Second Innings
Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne opened the inning for Sri Lanka.
The Pakistani bowlers again started to take quick wickets.
Noman Ali took seven wickets, and Naseem Shah took three wickets.
Sri Lanka got all out for 188 runs as Pakistan won the match by an innings and 222 runs.
Pakistan also won the series 2-0.
