Pakistan’s spin duo of Sajid and Noman shines in the 152-run victory over England as they level the series by 1-1.

Now the decision of who will win the series depends upon the last test match of the series. Whoever wins the last test match will also win the three-match test series.

Match Details

The second test match was played in Multan from October 15-18th. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan First Innings

Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub opened the Innings for them.

Jack Leach didn’t let them settle as he took the wicket of Abdullah and in his next over took the wicket of Shan. Kamran came in to bat as he and Saim started to form a partnership and also completed their half-centuries.

Later on, Kamran completed his century, as by their knocks and shocks by Rizwan and Salman, they made a total of 366 runs.

England First Innings

Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett opened the innings for England.

Sajid and Norman didn’t let them settle, as they started to take wickets from the start. Ben stood strong and hit a century apart from him, everyone lost their wickets quickly.

With this century, the English team got to a total of 291 runs. Sajid took a haul of five wickets and in total took seven wickets, whereas Norman took three wickets.

Pakistan Second Innings

In the second inning, the batsmen weren’t able to make a huge impact. As they were losing wickets in short intervals, only Salman played a good knock of 63 runs.

With his knock and the short knocks, Pakistan made a total of 221 runs. Shoaib Bashir took four wickets, and Jack Leach took three wickets in limiting the Pakistan innings.

England Second Innings

England needed 291 runs to win the match, as Pakistan didn’t let anyone else bowl apart from Norman and Sajid.

They both took all the wickets of the England batsmen for a total of just 144 runs. Norman Ali took a haul of five wickets and in total took eight wickets, and Sajid Khan took two wickets.

With the outstanding spin bowling attack, Pakistan won the match by 152 runs.
