Parvinder Awana

Days are not going well for the Indian Pacers. After Mohammed Shami’s arguments with the local youth and thieves barging into Umesh Yadav’s house, the bad luck came to Kings XI Punjab’s pacer, Parvinder Awana. Parvinder on Friday was beaten by a group of five unknown people in Greater Noida.

It is learnt that while returning from Haridwar, five unknown people travelling by car along with a girl attacked him while he was passing Greater Noida. Later it was revealed that the group was running after being involved in a fight in an ice factory and thought that the cricketer was chasing them. So they overtook his car and assaulted the cricketer. Parvinder’s car has also been damaged.

According to SHO, “We are in the process of identifying the accused. A FIR under charges pertaining to assault has been lodged in the case against five unknown persons on the basis of the complaint we have received.”

Earlier also, Awana was involved in a fight with a Noida policeman after an argument over parking back in 2014 where the policeman punched him.
