The Path to the Semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup.
After the Men’s T20 World Cup, it is now time for the Women’s T20 World Cup.
The Women’s T20 World Cup is all set to be played in the UAE and has now almost reached the semi-final stage.
In total, ten teams are qualified for the Women’s T20 World Cup, which are further divided into two groups.
Group A consists of: India Women, Australia Women, Pakistan Women, New Zealand Women, and Sri Lanka Women.
Group B consists of: England Women, South Africa Women, West Indies Women, Bangladesh Women, and Scotland Women.
Only two group stage matches are left, and the semi-final spots are almost clear.
Australia Women
The Australian women are in the semi-finals as they won all of their group-stage matches.
They reached eight points by winning all the matches and are in the semi-finals.
India Women
India Women won two matches and lost two and right now stand at the second position in the group.
Their qualification depends upon the match between NZ and PAK.
If NZ wins, then India will be out of the cup, and if PAK wins, then the qualification will depend upon NRR.
New Zealand Women
The New Zealand women are in the third position with four points; if they win the last match, then they will qualify for the semi-finals.
Pakistan Women
Pakistan Women are in fourth place with two points. To reach the semi-finals, they have to win the last match with a good margin to qualify.
Sri Lanka Women
They lost all the group-stage matches and are out of the World Cup.
England Women
England Women are in Group B and are currently in the first position with six points.
They have one last match, and if they win the match, they will directly qualify for the semi-finals.
In case they lose the match, then the qualifications will depend upon NRR.
South Africa Women
South African women are in the second position in the group with six points.
Their qualifications depend upon the last match of groups B and NRR.
West Indies Women
WI women are currently in the third position with four points and will qualify if they are in the last match with a great margin.
Bangladesh Women
Bangladesh Women are out of the World Cup as they won only a single match.
Scotland Women
Scotland Women are out of the race to the semi-finals as they lost all their matches.
