It has been a great six editions for pro kabaddi league as they have got the immense support from the crowd and the people who watched this from their home. And now it’s time to welcome the seventh edition. The auction is going to be held on April 8th and 9th.
It will be interesting to see a total of 441 players will be up for grabs at the two-day auction, beginning in Mumbai on Monday. 53 players are from 13 nations and 72 come from the league’s New young players programme(NYP), a nationwide talent scouting programme organized in 12 cities, which received an overwhelming response with 2991 participants.
Each franchise can buy 25 players in the auction with 18 being the minimum number for the franchise. Like the previous year, the concept of “final Bid Match “will continue this year too. As per the FBM process, the franchise will be entitled to the match the final bid made by another franchise.

The base price of each category has also been raised this year. players are further divided into 4 category
A 30 lakhs (as a base price)
b 20 lakhs (as a base price)
c 10 lakhs (as a base price)
d 6 lakhs (as a base price)
Addition to these categories, there is new category which is launch this year for NYP, which will go with a base price of Rs 7.26 lakhs.
