On July 25th, Paris Saint-Germain and Gamba Osaka played a friendly match at the Suita City Stadium.
PSG played with a formation of 3-4-3. Whereas Gamba Osaka has a formation of 3-4-2-1.
First half
The match started and so did the dominance of PSG as they were possessing the game.
Lionel Messi attempted the first goal in the 4th minute itself when he shot at the top center of the goal post but got saved.
In the 28th minute, Pablo Sarabia shot the ball from the center of the box to the center of the goal as PSG scored the first goal.
A penalty was conceded by Genta Mishra of Gamba after a foul in the penalty area.
Neymar did not miss the chance as he converted the penalty into a goal as they took a 2-0 lead.
Keisuke Kurokawa was trying to get back into the game as he scored the first goal for Gamba.
PSG was dominating the game as a beautiful run by Nuno assisted Vitinha and they scored the third goal.
The great assists kept on going as Neymar assisted Messi in scoring the fourth goal.
By the end of the first half, the score was 4-1.
Second half
Osaka was trying hard to come back into the game, but their opponent wasn’t letting them.
Messi did not let any of the defense take the ball from him as he took the ball through the players and passed the ball to Neymar. He shot the ball to the center of the goal.
Gamba Osaka lost all their hopes of winning the match when Ko Yanagisawa assisted Hiroto when he hit the ball at the bottom left corner, scoring the second goal.
PSG substituted six of their main players, including Messi and Sergio Ramos, giving chances to the youngsters.
Ryu Takao conceded a foul in the penalty area, giving another chance for PSG to score.
Kylian Mbappe took the penalty shot and he converted it into another goal.
At the end of the match, PSG won the friendly match by a big margin of 6-2
