After her incredible performance in the semi-final against Australia and also in the finals against England, Indian Women team batswoman, Harmanpreet Kaur has been offered the post of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) post in Punjab Police on Sunday by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh.
Amarinder Singh feels that Harmanpreet Kaur has made Punjab proud with her superb performance and announced this news on his Twitter account saying, “Proud of @ImHarmanpreet, they gave an excellent fight to England in the World Cup final, would be happy to appoint her DSP if she desires.”

Harmanpreet’s father, Harmandar Singh thanked the Punjab CM and said, “I thank CM of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh for job offer. Our daughters made us proud.” Earlier also, Captain Amarinder announced a prize of Rs. 5 lakh for Harmanpreet after her knock at the semi-final against Australia.
India on Sunday had lost the final to England by 9 runs.
