Bangladesh has reached the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and now will play against India on 15 June. It’s obvious that everybody will be thinking that Bangladesh will step out with a feeling of revenge of the 2015 World Cup quarter-final loss against India when they faced a humiliating defeat.

But according to the coach of Bangladesh, Chandika Hathurusingha said that the team has no such feelings and is happy to be in the semi-finals and their only goal for now is to play good against India. He said, “There is no feeling of revenge. It’s about playing a good game against India. We are thinking of competing and doing our best.”

Instead is he focusing to grab the big opportunity the team has earned. “For everyone, including the coaching staff, it’s the first time and our aim is to go and express ourselves. It’s not a very big game; it’s a very big opportunity. So, for both the seniors and the juniors my message is to grab this opportunity with both hands,” said Hathurusingha.

Coach said that playing-11 would probably be the same against India too. Also he added that defeating India would be a great achievement for them and will boost the team’s  morale.
