Despite being ruled out of India’s tour of Australia thanks to a hamstring injury, Rohit Sharma’s rather surprising decision to show out for the Mumbai Indians’ last league game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday night in IPL 2020 in UAE has left many stumped, and stoked an enormous controversy. The development has once more raised a problem which has been simmering ever since the lucrative IPL began in 2008 – is club more important or country.

Rohit Sharma has been declared unfit by the Indian Team’s Physio Nitin Patel but as of now, he is seen leading and playing for the Mumbai Indians which is not quite understandable.

The question that has been raised is that weather playing in the IPL is more important than playing for the country?
Is the club more important than playing for the state for him? Will the BCCI take a call on this? The main Physio of BCCI can also be at fault as he declared the batsman unfit for the series.

India will tour Australia for a full series after the IPL final next week and Rohit, who features a stunning white ball record in Australia, are going to be missed.
If we talk Australia into consideration then Rohit Sharma has scored 4 hundred on Australian pitches in ODI’s and a total of 990 runs in a total of 19 matches with a strike rate of 90.99.

Doubts over Rohit’s fitness status were evident when MI tweeted a video of him practising just a couple of hours after the selectors left him out of the tour to Australia due to the hamstring injury.

Rohit also opened in the First qualifier where they managed to win and move into the finals of the Dream11 IPL 2020. Unfortunately, Rohit was dismissed on a score of 0. But this proves that he is fit and fine to compete.
