Royal Challengers Bengaluru Storm into the Finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 with Dominant Performance.
With the outstanding performance, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru made it to the top two and were all set to play the qualifier one against the table toppers, Punjab Kings.
The outstanding bowling performance by them and then chasing down the total with ease took them to the finals of the eighteenth edition of IPL that will be played on 3rd June at Ahmedabad.
Match Details
The first semi-final of the IPL was all set to be played in New Chandigarh between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Rajat Patidar was back captaining RCB and won the toss, electing to bowl first.
Punjab Kings Innings
Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh opened the innings for the Punjab Kings.
Yash Dayal didnโt let them settle as he took the wicket of Priyansh in his first over.
In the next over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wicket of Prabhsimran.
Then Josh came in to attack and took two wickets in the next two consecutive overs.
Wickets kept on falling in short intervals of time as Suyash Sharma came in to attack and took two wickets in a single over.
The outstanding bowling of RCB took all the wickets of PBKS at a total of 101 runs.
Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma took three wickets each, and Yash Dayal took two wickets.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Innings
Phil Salt and Virat Kohli opened the innings for them and started off great.
Kyle Jamieson didnโt let them settle and soon took the wicket of Virat.
Phil kept the power hitting from the other hand and soon completed his half-century.
Mayank supported him for a while and later lost his wicket.
In the end, Phil and Rajat took them towards an easy victory and made their way to the finals of IPL 2025.
