The leg spinner from Nepal Sandeep Lamichhane has tested positive for the Covid-19. The player was ready to play in the Big bash League as he signed for the Hobart Hurricanes. The message was revealed through social media as he conveyed he has been experiencing body aches since Wednesday and is currently in home isolation.

His participation in the BBL is now a major concern. He had previously played for Melbourne Stars as well.

Bad news coming in from Nepal as four of their players have tested positive with the likes of captain and vice-captain too. This has caused problems as they had plans to conduct a training camp for their cricketers at Tribhuvan University Stadium in Kathmandu.
