Double Retirement: Firstly, Klaasen of South Africa, Calls upon his career, and then Nicholas Pooran of the West Indies hangs up his boots at the age of just 29, leaving the entire cricket world in shock.

The legends of the game are leaving one by one, starting with Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Virat Kohli of India, who called upon their T20I careers after the T20 World Cup win.

Then later on, Rohit and Virat also called upon their Test careers and will be playing just the ODI format.

Soon then the Australian stars Steven Smith and Glenn Maxwell retired from ODI formats. And then Heinrich Klaasen, the outstanding batsman of South Africa, called upon his international career.

And now, Nicholas Pooran hangs up his international career at the age of just 29.

Heinrich Klaasen:

The 33-year-old South African wicketkeeper-batsman was born on July 30, 1991. He has always been an important part of the South African squad in all formats.

He started his international career against India when he got his ODI debut cap on February 7, 2015. In the same series, he also made his T20I debut, and later, in 2019, he made his Test debut.

He also got the chance to captain the South African team for the first time in a T20I match.

Klaasen has always been known as one of the most destructive players in limited-over matches known for his power-hitting capabilities. Now that he has stepped down from his international career, everyone wishes him luck for his upcoming life.

Nicholas Pooran:

Nicholas Pooran, born on October 2, 1995, has dropped a bombshell by announcing his retirement at the age of just 29.

The left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman has also been an important part of the West Indies squad. Known worldwide for his destructive and outstanding power-hitting, he became one of the most dangerous batsmen in the T20 format.

He made his international debut in 2016 against Pakistan. Going on with his career, he was also appointed as the captain of the West Indies team but later stepped down from the captaincy.

Now, he leaves the game with the most caps of any West Indian of all time in T20 Internationals. He is also the leading run-scorer for his team with 2275 runs in just 106 matches.
