The black caps came to India for the tour of three ODI and three T-20IS.

India cleanly sweeps the Kiwis in the ODI series.

The T-20I series was at 1-1 and the decider was to be played in Hyderabad.

Match Details

The third and last T-20I of the Kiwi’s tour of India was all set to be played at Hyderabad stadium.

India won the toss and elected to bat first.

India Innings

Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan opened the Innings for India.

India lost its first wicket in the second over itself.

Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi took forward the Innings.

Rahul Tripathi’s firing knocks gave a great start to the team.

As Rahul kept on going and Shubman handled the innings.

He soon completed his half-century when SuryaKumar was helping him from another end.

As the match went Shubman completed his first-ever international T-20I century.

With the outstanding knock by him, India made a huge total of 234 runs for the loss of four wickets.

New Zealand Innings

Finn Allen and Devon Conway opened the Innings for the Black Caps.

Hardik Pandya knocking from the first over itself took the wicket of Allen.

In the next over Arshdeep Singh took two wickets pushing back the Kiwis.

Whereas, in the next over Hardik gave another breakthrough to the black caps.

The Indian bowlers took five of the major wickets of the Kiwis in the powerplay itself.

Daryl Mitchell was the only batsman who scored some runs and tried to handle the situation.

The bowlers didn’t let that happen as they took all the wickets at the score of just 66 runs.

India won the match by a huge margin of 166 runs as they put their name on the second number.

IND is now at the second spot of the highest wins by the top 12 teams World Wide.

Shubman Gill was chosen as the Player of the Match for his outstanding century.

Hardik Pandya was the Player of the series for taking five wickets and scoring 66 runs.

IND won the series by 2-1. Till now India has continuously won 25 series at home.
