SINGAPORE OPEN: All the hopes of Indians ended as the Trio of SAMEER-SINDHU-SRIKANTH made exit from the tournament after losing their respective singles matches.

Kidambi Srikanth who faced the world’s NO. 1 Kento Momota of Japan in the quarter-final stage tried really hard to beat him but didn’t succeed. He gave a tough a fight to the World’s number 1 but Unfortunately got defeated by 18-21 21-19 9-21 to end his Singapore Opens.

After losing the first set, Kidambi came back strongly and won the second set but unfortunately didn’t hold his nerve in the last set and lost it by 9-21.

His Country mate Sameer Verma also crashed out from the tournament as he lost the Nail biting contest from Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen by 10-21 21-15 15-21. The story went the same for Sameer as well. He took the match to 3 sets.

The biggest shocker of the morning came as PV Sindhu was crushed by her Arc rival Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara. She lost the match by 7-21 11-21 in the Straight sets. People were Expecting some good contest but the game went one-sided as Okuhara has the better of PV Sindhu.

Indian Ace shuttler PV Sindhu who defeated the mighty Nozomi Okuhara at the finals of Korean Open 2017 wasn’t able to fight in the quarterfinals of Singapore Open.
