After the successful completion of the Australian tour of India, now it’s time for the South Africa tour.

Recently, Australia came to India to practice and check on their team before the World Cup.

Australia is also the host of the World Cup in 2022.

The Australian tour of India went well for the Indian side as they won the series as well.

The batting side of the Indian team is seen as their strong point as the batsmen were able to show their talents as well.

Whereas, the bowling side was a bit weak, but they are working on it and will look forward to fixing it properly.

The South Africa tour will be the final opportunity for them to see their strengths and work on their weaknesses.

South Africa will consist of three T-20I matches and three ODI matches.

The Indian squad, which is selected for the World Cup, will play the T-20I series and then travel for the World Cup.

After the completion of the India A matches, a squad will be announced for the South Africa ODI matches.

Shikhar Dhawan will lead the squad for the ODI matches, and Sanju Samson will debut in the matches.

Schedule

The first T-20I will be played on September 28th, followed by the second T-20I on October 2nd, and the last one on October 4th.

The first match will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, the second at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, and the third at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.

Indiaโ€™s T20I squad: Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Jasprit Bumrah.

South Africa T20I squad: Temba Bavuma (C), Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Wayne Parnell, Dwaine Pretorius, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs.

The Indian squad for the ODI will be announced soon, and the South Africa squad will remain the same.
