Spain wins the UEFA European Football Championship league.
This is Spain’s fourth time won the championship and is currently the most successful team.
UEFA was founded back in 1958 and, since then, has been going on.
In total, 24 teams participated in the league, and the tournament was held in Germany.
The teams are divided into six groups, each consisting of four teams.
Groups
From group A, Germany, and Switzerland qualified for the next stage.
Spain and Italy qualified from Group B as Spain won all their matches.
Three teams qualified from the remaining groups.
England, Denmark, and Slovenia from Group C.
Austria, France, and the Netherlands from Group D.
From the groups E Romania, Belgium, and Slovakia.
And from group F, Portugal, Turkiye, and Georgia qualified for the next stage.
Knock out stage
Then, according to the overall results, eight teams get a spot in the quarterfinal.
England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and France got into the quarterfinals.
England won by 5-3, the Netherlands by 2-1, Spain by 2-1, and France won in the penalties.
Then, in the semi-final stage, England faced the Netherlands and Spain faced France.
England, performing outstandingly, won the match by 2-1 and got into the finals.
In the second semi-final, Spain dominated France and got into the finals.
Finals
The finals were between Spain and England.
The match started great and was getting neck-to-neck in the first half.
Spain took the lead as Nico Williams scored the first goal of the finals in the 47th minute.
Cole Palmer brought England back into the game by leveling the score.
The match was getting close to a tie in the end.
Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winning goal for Spain in the 86th minute.
Ultimately, they won the match 2-1 and lifted their fourth title.
