Suryakumar Yadav showcased his talent again as he hit a marvelous century.

As Sri Lanka came to the tour of India, and the third and most important T-20I was to be played on January 7th.

India and Sri Lanka both won one Twenty20 international each, which makes the last one more exciting.

Whoever wins this match will also win the T-20I series.

Match Details

The third and final T-20I was to be played in Rajkot.

India won the toss and elected to bat first.

India Innings

Ishan Kishan opened the inning alongside Shubman Gill.

Ishan lost his wicket in the first over to Dilshan.

Rahul Tripathi came into the bat as he started to hit boundaries.

He lost his wicket soon, but his short knock added valuable runs to the total.

Suryakumar’s arrived and started to build a partnership with Shubman.

Suryakumar showcased his talent and proved to everyone why he is one of the best batsmen in the world.

When Suryakumar reached his half-century, they had amassed a 111-run partnership.

India lost two quick wickets just as things were looking up.

Despite losing a wicket, Suryakumar batted on to complete his century.

With his century, India made a total of 228/5.

The Sri Lankan innings

Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis opened the innings for Sri Lanka.

They both got their teams off to a fast start by making good runs.

Axar Patel didn’t let their partnership stay for long as he took Kusal’s wicket.

As the first wicket fell, no batsmen were able to stand and make runs.

One by one, every Indian bowler was taking wickets, giving them constant breakthroughs.

The bowlers had taken all their wickets by the end of the 17th over itself.

Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik, and Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets each, and Arshdeep Singh took three wickets.

India won the T-20I series as Suryakumar was the Player of the Match and Axar Patel was the Player of the Series.
