CHINA: Table Tennis sensation and world’s number 28, G.sathiyan of India has booked his place for the upcoming tournament, the World Cup which is to held in Chengdu, China from October 18 to 20.
Earlier, he stunned the world’s number 14 Chun-ting-wong on Saturday. Moreover, he finished sixth in the IITF-ATTU in position 5-8 on Saturday. He was in his brilliant touch throughout the Asian Games. It is going to be very interesting to see him play in the world cup.
Sathiyan, who defeated Chun-ting-wong of hong kong, didn’t able to produce the same magic against the China Taipei, Lin-Yu-Ju and got defeated by 11-4 11-8 11-8 14-12
The 26 years old Sathiyan have to tighten up his seat belt as he is going to play against the best players around the world like LIN-Yun-Ju and many more.
