India A is all set for the South Africa tour and major changes in the team have also been announced. In one day format, Manish Pandey will be leading the team, whereas Karun Nair will lead the team in the four-day format.

Krunal Pandya, the all-rounder from Baroda, who had a recent successful IPL season is a major inclusion in the team. He has been included in the one-day team. Also, Gujrat’s opener, Priyank Panchal has found his place in the four-day side along with the Hyderabad pace bowler, Mohammed Siraj who is included in both squads. Rishabh Pant joined as the wicketkeeper for the one-day team and Jharkhand’s Ishan Kishan for the squad for two unofficial Tests.

Karun Nair is in both squads, due to his impressive performance with the bat since he became India’s second Test triple-centurion in December. Tough Pandey was in the Indian squad for Champions Trophy, he had to return from England due to his injury.

Taking a look towards Krunal Pandya, he showed a consistent performance for IPL winners Mumbai Indians with 243 runs at a strike-rate of 135.75 and 10 wickets with an economy of 6.82. Notably, he was Man of the Match in the final as Mumbai beat Rising Pune Supergiant by one run.
