The fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time as Virat scores his 71st century.

Virat Kohli is the former captain of the Indian team and a right-handed batsman.

From being the captain of the Indian team to leaving the captaincy.

After a long wait of 1020 days, the milestone that every fan has been waiting for has finally arrived.

The last time he scored a century was in 2019 in the Pink Ball Test against Bangladesh.

He ended the drought by teaching the three-figure mark against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup Super 4 match on September 8.

Twitter got flooded with tweets, as everyone around the globe was happy.

The king is back, according to many of them, as Virat scored his maiden T-20I century.

Virat breaks Rohit Sharma’s record of the highest individual score by an Indian batter in a T-20I match.

He took 53 balls to reach the milestone, and in the end, he scored a total of 122 runs from 61 deliveries.

By his maiden century, he once again became the 2nd highest run scorer in T-20I.

Virat used to be first, but he is now second with 3584 runs, while Rohit is first with 3620 runs.

He is the only batsman ever in the history of the Asia Cup to score a century.
