Ahead of the World Cup, the Tri-Series was to be played in New Zealand between Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand.

First Match

The first match was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first.

With the help of 78 runs from Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan was able to put up a total of 167/5.

In response, Bangladesh was only able to make 146 runs and lost by 21 runs.

Second Match

The second match was played between New Zealand and Pakistan.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first.

They put up a total of 147 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Babar Azam of Pakistan played a marvelous knock of 79 runs, and with his knock, Pakistan won the match.

Third match

The third match was played between Bangladesh and New Zealand.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field first.

Bangladesh, batting first, was only able to make a total of 137 runs.

On the other hand, Devon Conway’s knock of 70 runs helps New Zealand easily win the match.

Fourth Match

The fourth match was between Pakistan and New Zealand.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

New Zealand’s bowlers did an outstanding job as they stopped Pakistan at a low score of 130 runs.

In response, New Zealand’s top order assisted them in reaching the total.

Fifth Match

The fifth match was between Bangladesh and New Zealand.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The NZ batsmen came prepared as Devon and Glenn smashed their half-centuries as well.

New Zealand finished with a score of 208/5.
In return, Bangladesh was only able to make 160 runs as they lost the match by 48 runs.

Sixth Match

The sixth match was between Bangladesh and PAK.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.

Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan scored 69 and 68 runs, respectively, for a total of 173 runs.

In return, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, and a later finishing knock by Mohammad Nawaz helped PAK win the match.

Final

The final was between PAK and New Zealand.

PAK won the toss and elected to field first.

New Zealand, batting first, was only able to put up a total of 163 runs.

In return, Pakistani batsmen achieved the total and won the Tri-Series.

Michael Bracewell was chosen as the Player of the Series.
