Vaibhav Suryavanshi: The 14-year-old prodigy who redefined Indian cricket records in yesterday’s match.

At 14 years and 32 days old, on Monday, while playing the match against Gujarat Titans, the young sensation shattered tons of records.

He smashed his century in just 35 deliveries, which not only made him the youngest man to score a century but also the fastest century by an Indian player in IPL.

The old record was with Yusuf Pathan, who smashed the century in 37 balls in 2010; he changed it by becoming the Indian to score the fastest century.

Overall, in IPL history, the young boy is just behind the universe boss, Chris Gayle, who completed his century in 30 deliveries.

He scored 93.06 percent of the runs from boundaries, which is the highest proportion in men’s T20s.

Apart from these records, he also equaled Murali Vijay’s record of most sixes in an innings, which is hitting eleven sixes.

At such a young age, smashing the international bowlers was none other than a wonder to watch.
