David Warner and Mitchell Marsh opened the innings for Australia.

After that, Steven Smith came in to bat as he and Warner formed an important partnership.
They both weren’t adding many runs but also not giving away their wickets.
Warner played an important knock of 41 runs, and Smith played a knock of 46 runs.
The spinner came into action as Jadeja made two breakthroughs in the same over.
After that, Kuldeep and Ashwin also gave breakthroughs to the Australian team.
Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, whereas Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each.
Their bowling performance limited Australia to 199 runs.
India Innings
Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the innings for India.
Shubman Gill tested positive for dengue, and because of this Ishan got a chance to open.
Mitchell Starc, showcasing his bowling skills, sent back Ishan in the first over itself.
In the next over, Josh Hazelwood gave two breakthroughs to the Indian team in the form of Rohit and Shreyas Iyer.
India were in deep trouble as they lost three wickets for two runs.
Virat and KL handled the situation from there, as they were forming an important partnership.
As the match went on, they both took India towards victory as they also completed their half-centuries.
They flawlessly took India to the stage of victory when Virat lost his wicket.
KL, in the end, finished the match in style, as he made India win with a six.
They won their opening match of the World Cup by six wickets as KL was chosen as the Player of the Match.
