Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma Retain Top Two Spots In ICC Men’s ODI Batsmen Rankings, Jasprit Bumrah Loses One Place In Bowling Charts

During a release on Thursday, the ICC revealed that the skipper of the Indian Cricket team Virat Kohli and the Hitman from India Rohit Sharma both have retained their positions as the Number 1 and Number 2 ODI Batsman. Kohli has again topped the list even after losing out the series against Australia by a margin of 2-1 but ultimately scored 2 half-centuries to leave a mark behind. On the other Rohit Sharma has regained his 2nd position even after his hamstring injury which did not allow him to participate in the One day series against Australia. Rohit has 847 points to his name whereas Kohli has 870 points.

Finch has made his way to the 5th spot after performing incredibly well against India in the one-day series. He scored 2 Half-centuries and one Century and contributed 249 runs to the team which took him to 791 points on the chart.

The power hitter of the Indian Cricket Team Hardik Pandya has entered the list of top 50 ODI batsman with his mammoth performance against Australia. He currently stands at 49th position with 553 points.

David Warner with 773 points finishes at 7th spot keeping in mind his status of injury.

The yorker specialist Jasprit Burmah with 700 points finishes at 3rd on the list just behind Mujeeb Ur Rehman from Afghanistan.

Josh Hazlewood has climbed to the sixth spot after picking up 6 wickets in the ODI series. With 623 points Adam Zampa has climbed to the list of Top 20 for the first time in his career as he was the most successful bowler for Australia in the ODI series. He took 7 wickets and now is at the 14th position.
