West Indies leveled the series at 1-1 with a stellar bowling performance in the second test match against Pakistan.
The West Indies were on the tour of Pakistan, which included two test matches.
Pakistan won the first one and took the lead by 1-0 in the two-test match series.
Match Details
The second test match was played in Multan from January 25th to 27th. West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first.
West Indies First Innings
Kraigg Brathwaite and Mikyle Louis opened the innings for them.
They both weren’t able to give a great start to their team as the opening was followed by the middle order but out soon.
The lower-order batsmen Gudakesh Motie, Kemar, and Jomel added some runs.
Gudakesh also completed his half-century, and with their knocks, WI made a total of 163 runs.
Noman Ali took a haul of five wickets in total, he took six wickets.
Pakistan First Innings
Shan Masood and Muhammad Hurraira opened the innings as they weren’t able to stand for long in front of the West Indies bowling attack.
Gudakesh, Kemar, and Jomel soon started to take wickets at frequent intervals.
Only Mohammad Rizwan played a decent knock of 49 runs as Pakistan made a total of 154 runs.
West Indies Second Innings
Kraigg Brathwaite and Mikyle Louis opened the innings for them.
Noman Ali soon took Mikyle’s wicket, and Kraigg kept on going from one end.
He played a good knock of 52 runs as short knocks came from others as well.
With the contributions of all the other batsmen, they reached a total of 244 runs.
Sajid Khan and Norman Ali took four wickets each.
Pakistan Second Innings
Shan and Muhammad opened the innings, but they soon lost their wickets.
Gudakesh, Kevin, and Jomel again started to take wickets as soon as they took all the Pakistani batsmen’s wickets at just 133 runs.
Gudakesh took two wickets, Kevin took three, and Jomel took four wickets.
West Indies won the match by 120 runs as the series got tied at 1-1.
