At Estadio Jose Alvalade stadium, Portugal played against Switzerland in the National League.

Switzerland started the game with the kick-off, starting from left to right. As the game started, Switzerland was dominating the game and was forcing the attack as they scored the first goal in the fifth minute itself. Then Portugal asked the referee to re-check the goal as while the ball was coming and a Portuguese player was trying to clear it by headshot, it seemed like the hand of F.Schar was touching the ball because of which the goal wasn’t counted.

Then came the return attack from the Portuguese side as they got a chance of a free kick. Ronaldo attempted it and shot the ball directly at the goal post, but was saved by the goalkeeper while the ball returned. William Carvalho got the chance and converted it into the first goal for his team.

However, SUI kept on the attack but wasn’t able to convert it into goals. Then came the beautiful run of the opponents and great passing as Rui Silva passed the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo and he converted it into the second goal.

POR started to attack as they weren’t letting any opportunity to score go from their hands as yet another beautiful goal came from the Greatest of all time (GOAT) Cristiano. In the 41st minute, Ronaldo missed a chance to score another goal.

Portugal led the scoreboard by 3-0 by half-time. SUI has to do something out of the box in the second half to win the match.

As the second half started, POR was dominating the game. In the 50th minute, there was another goal by them but it wasn’t counted as it was off-side.

Whereas in the 67th minute, a mesmerizing run by POR resulted in Joao Cancelo scoring his team’s fourth goal.

There wasn’t any hope left for the SUI to come back into the game. When the game ended, Portugal had won the match by 4-0.
