The legendary football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced his retirement after AC Milan’s win.

Born and brought Up

The great professional football player was born on October 3rd, 1981.

He was born in Malmo, Sweden, as his father was Muslim and his mother was Christian.

Zlatan identifies himself with his mother’s faith and considers himself a devout Catholic Christian.


He signed his first contract when he was just 15 years old.

The first contract of his life was with Malmo in 1996, and he continued to play there until he moved to the senior side.

Later, after five years, a deal was signed between Malmo and Ajax regarding his transfer.

After Ajax, he moved to Juventus and then to Inter Milan on August 10, 2006.

He signed a four-year deal with Inter Malan and completed the transfer for €24.8 million.

He was young when he entered Inter Milan, where he made his debut against Roma in 2006.

Turning point

Zlatan was always a great player, but his best time came when he entered Barcelona.

He and his teammates led Barcelona to many victories, starting with the Supercopa de Espana.

After that, Barca won the 2009 UEFA Super Cup by a score of 1-0. After that, he played his last match against Milan.

He was announced on loan to Milan and, after that, transferred to AC Milan.

Later, he shifted to Paris Saint-Germain, also known as PSG.

He also became the all-time leading goalscorer with 110 goals in all official matches.

Then he went to Manchester United, and then he started the return season when he went back to AC Milan.

The Swedish soccer legend finally announced his retirement at the age of 41, becoming the oldest-ever goal scorer.


The great legend, in total, scored 405 goals in his 637 matches.

He scored the most goals for PSG, with 122 goals.
