NAVBLUE and Airbus Aerial, subsidiaries of Airbus have entered into partnerships with three Indian startups, Stelae Technologies, EFLIGHT, and Airpix accelerated at Airbus Bizlab India. This partnership will help NAVBLUE and Airbus Aerial to strengthen its technology platforms with the cutting-edge aeronautical data services, flight operations, and imagery services.

NAVBLUE signed a contract with Stelae Technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of its aeronautical data services. It has also extended an agreement with EFLIGHT. Another agreement was signed between Airbus Aerial and Mumbai-based Airpix to provide geo-analytical data solutions and imagery services in the country.

Talking about the partnerships, Fabrice Villaume, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, NAVBLUE, said, “We are very excited to work with startups and SMEs in India to help power this growth and bring value to the Indian aviation industry with our integrated solutions. Another is the potential of the aerospace industry; India has the world’s fastest-growing domestic airline market.”

Stelae Technologies provides information management solutions by transforming unstructured data into structured information. It was founded by Aruna Schwarz, Maria Shiao, Pierre Fraisse and Sandeep Raizda in 2012.

EFLIGHT is a company that provides complete trip support for its clients. It helps to simplify flight planning process by automating the services. It was founded by Captain A K Sachdev and Prem Kumar in 2015.

Airpix is a drone solution provider company that provides data processing and analytical solutions by using drones. It was founded by Neeraj Waghchaure along with Shinil Shekhar in 2013.

All the three startups, that earned a contract with Airbus subsidiaries, were part of the Airbus Bizlab’s accelerator program. Bizlab collaborates with startups to understand their needs and help them grow during the early stages of development. Bizlab starts funding the startups after the proof of concept is demonstrated. It has accelerated 50 startups and 40 internal projects in the last three years.
