Rahul Yadav, known as the bad boy of Indian Startup Ecosystem, is all set to be in news once again. According to sources, Amazon Prime is coming up with a web series, based on the story of Rahul Yadav. Farhan Akhtar‘s Excel Entertainment is currently working on the script and will announce the developments soon. Farhan’s production house is also producing Inside Edge, the first Amazon Prime original web series for the Indian audience, which is slated to launch next week.
Rahul Yadav is widely known in the startup world for his spat with the investors of Housing.com, a company he founded with his classmates of IIT Bombay. He was eventually thrown out by the company.
According to sources, the production house has also been talking with a few executives of Housing.com to get an insider view of the environment. The formal announcement might take place in the coming weeks. In a recent statement, Nitesh Kripalani, head of Amazon Prime Video India had admitted that Amazon Prime is looking to launch at least 4-5 web series this year for the Indian market.
