Babajob, online job searching platform has secured ₹64 Crore ($10 million) investment from SEEK Limited. SEEK is the largest global online employment company and render their services to approximately 2.6 billion people across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia among others. The company stated that the funding will be utilized for developing the team and to personify the branding, they’ll also come up with their mobile app. The company is planning to improve the communication network and for that, they are in talking terms with “missed the call for jobs” and “RapidHire” to avail their services. Their vision is to provide jobs for every countryman according to their experience and talent.

Sean Blagsvedt, CEO and Founder of Babajob has mentioned that “We are excited to find a strong partner in SEEK, who shares our vision of using technology to connect everyone on the planet to better jobs, especially those in emerging markets. We are honored to be their first investment in India and look forward to bringing access to better jobs to every Indian and to helping every employer reliably hire aspiring workers.”
